| AMAIKE |
the same sweet, caring love that had flourished in him.
Every afternoon, the watchman would observe from this lookout point on the hill like a “Sentinel”. He waited impatiently for the beautiful girl to come to their gathering. Hence, their love continued to grow.
Amaike´s outings from her remote dwelling were discovered by the soldiers from the fort. One of them was suspicious of the occasional reunions between the young girl and the brave indian who remained strong and defiant from a distant hill. By positioning guards along the paths, the soldier, with the complicity of his companions, was able to catch the slippery girl.
