Why the name amaike?
Because we believed that the name of the hotel should be related to Tandil. While looking for a name connected with the landscape of stones, valleys and hills, we found the story of the following legend.
Amaike was an ethereal being. She lived in isolation like a strange flower of the region. Her Indian mother died when she was just a small child. She led a solitary life among the hills of the valley beside her father, who was born from the captive daughter of a great chief.
Amaike had inherited the strength from her native race and an Asian beauty, which in harmony with her slim and flexible body, her luminous skin and face, and unusually beautiful eyes, turned her into a deity of the place.
